Choi Gwi-hwa, who was appointed as an honorary public relations ambassador this time, is a native of Beopseong-myeon and plans to carry out various activities over the next two years to promote the "charm of Yeonggwang," including local tourist attractions and abundant food.
Choi Gwi-hwa, who honed his skills on the theater stage, became known to the public by playing the role of Deputy Manager Park Yong-gu in the drama Misaeng, and has appeared in films such as Gokseong, The Odd Family: Zombie On Sale, Train to Busan, and Tunnel, becoming a box office star in Chungmuro with over 26 million viewers in total.
With 24 years of acting experience as a senior actor, he is currently filming the movie The Outlaws 2, which is scheduled to be released in the second half of the year.
