Among these tasks, four projects?SOS Lab construction and software service development, support for the AI Convergence Research Center, support for creating a drone utilization service market, and support for big data analysis and utilization for small and medium enterprises?were selected in the government public contest in the first half of this year, securing 12.8 billion KRW in national funds and 5.7 billion KRW in private contributions.

Through these projects, the city plans to address child safety and protection issues using software and AI solutions, foster AI convergence talents for industrial innovation and create an environment for AI technology dissemination, provide smart inspection and management services for coastal facilities using drones, and offer data analysis and consulting services to small and medium enterprises.

Incheon Mayor Park Namchun stated, "We will do our best to continuously discover and establish new projects for the digital economy base transformation desired by the future by integrating government policies and Incheon City's specialized support projects such as artificial intelligence, bio, and robotics."
