Gwangju Bank Donates Additional 300 Million KRW in Emergency Relief Funds to Gwangju City Hall
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Bank (President Song Jong-wook) announced on the 6th that it held a ceremony to deliver 300 million KRW in emergency relief funds for 'COVID-19' at Gwangju Metropolitan City Hall, attended by Lee Yong-seop, Mayor of Gwangju Metropolitan City, Song Jong-wook, President of Gwangju Bank, and Park Heung-seok, Chairman of the Korean Red Cross Gwangju-Jeonnam Chapter.
The relief funds will be delivered through Gwangju City Hall and the Korean Red Cross Gwangju-Jeonnam Chapter to vulnerable groups in the region who need urgent living expenses support due to the impact of 'COVID-19', medical staff working to protect the health of local residents, and children in the region requiring emergency care support. The funds will be used to alleviate and support those affected by 'COVID-19'.
So far, Gwangju Bank has delivered 30,000 masks each to Gwangju Metropolitan City and Jeollanam-do, emergency relief funds of 100 million KRW each, and 10 million KRW each to Mokpo, Suncheon, Yeosu, and Naju. Following the delivery of 300 million KRW in relief funds to Gwangju Metropolitan City due to the resurgence of 'COVID-19', it plans to deliver 200 million KRW in relief funds to Jeonnam Province on the 8th.
