SSG.com Opens Official Store for 'Chahong Cosmetic'
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] SSG.com announced on the 5th that it will open the official store of ‘Cha Hong Cosmetic’.
Cha Hong Cosmetic is a brand researched and developed by ‘Cha Hong,’ who has worked as a hair artist for over 20 years, specializing in ‘self hair care’ products. It is characterized by selling professional products used in premium hair salons such as ‘Cha Hong Arder’ and ‘Cha Hong Room’.
SSG.com brought a total of 35 products, including 29 single items and 6 set plans, identical to those on Cha Hong Cosmetic’s own online mall. Outside of their own mall, SSG.com is the only place that carries all items.
To commemorate the opening of the Cha Hong Cosmetic official store, SSG.com will offer up to 17% discounts on all products for two weeks from the 6th to the 19th. The ‘Styling Set,’ consisting of sprays and waxes, is discounted by 17% to 110,000 KRW, and the ‘Intensive Repair Set,’ which supplies nutrition to severely damaged hair, is sold at a 16% discount for 140,000 KRW. The ‘Rehydra Set,’ focusing on moisture supply, can be purchased at a 15% discount for 110,000 KRW.
Additionally, in agreement with Cha Hong Cosmetic, two of the six set plans will be made exclusive products for SSG.com and launched for sale. These sets, including shampoo, spray, and a Tribrush worth about 30,000 KRW, are priced in the 70,000 to 80,000 KRW range.
Furthermore, among customers who make purchases, a lottery will be held to give away ‘Cha Hong Arder’ head spa tickets and home care sets worth around 100,000 KRW.
This official store entry was made based on the strategic decision of both companies to expand product assortment and customer touchpoints.
SSG.com expects to expand products that allow hair care at home by increasing beauty-exclusive brands and considering ‘untact’ (contactless) consumption, while Cha Hong Cosmetic anticipates expanding sales channels by leveraging SSG.com’s well-established product planning and delivery logistics system.
