Jeonbuk Sports Council Decides Organizational Restructuring: From 7 Divisions to 1 Office and 6 Divisions
Establishment of the External Cooperation Office Directly Under the Secretary-General

According to the Sports Council, the recent 3rd board meeting reviewed and approved the proposed amendments to the regulations, proposed amendments to the bylaws, and the 1st supplementary budget revenue and expenditure plan.
The most anticipated office organization reorganization plan was also passed, changing from the existing 1 office, 2 headquarters, and 7 departments to 1 office, 2 headquarters, 1 division, and 6 departments.
Looking at the reorganized structure, the Planning and Coordination Headquarters will have the General Affairs and Accounting Department and the Marketing Planning Department.
The Sports Promotion Headquarters consists of the Professional Sports Department, the Gifted Welfare Department, the Leisure Sports Department, and the Sports Support Department, with a Sports Science Center directly under the headquarters chief.
In particular, an External Cooperation Division will be newly established directly under the office chief.
The External Cooperation Division will be responsible for the president's campaign tasks and external exchange cooperation, while the General Affairs and Accounting Department and the Marketing Planning Department will handle budget and personnel affairs and publicity and management evaluation, respectively.
The Professional Sports Department manages national comprehensive sports competitions and athlete management, while the Gifted Welfare Department will promote projects such as nurturing world stars and talent donation.
The Leisure Sports Department and the Sports Support Department will be responsible for managing city and county sports councils and sports organizations within the province.
Additionally, at this board meeting, the membership fee regulations were changed to include the president as a payer of board membership fees. The president will pay an annual membership fee of over 50 million won.
Furthermore, the active participation of the newly formed board members attracted attention, with membership fees almost fully paid.
