Korea Capital Joins 'Thanks Challenge' to Support COVID-19 Medical Staff
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Hankook Capital has joined the ‘Thanks To Challenge’ campaign supporting medical staff treating COVID-19.
Hankook Capital announced on the 3rd that employees, including CEO Lee Sang-chun, participated in the campaign on behalf of the company at its Seoul headquarters. Hankook Capital employees expressed sign language conveying respect and gratitude toward the medical staff.
The ‘Thanks To Challenge’ is a COVID-19 medical staff support campaign started by the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters on April 6. Participants express gratitude and respect for medical staff through sign language in photos or videos, then nominate the next participant in a relay format.

Hankook Capital joined the campaign after being nominated by the Korea Federation of Credit Finance. The next participant nominated by Hankook Capital was JT Capital. Lee Sang-chun, CEO of Hankook Capital, said, “We express our gratitude for the sacrifice and hard work of medical staff who are dedicated on the front lines despite the heat,” adding, “All employees are actively participating in efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 through social distancing and thorough quarantine measures.”
