Korea Federation of SMEs Provides On-Site Support for 'Korea Together Sale' in Cheongju, Chungbuk
Purchasing Products from Small Business Owners and SMEs Visiting the Event Venue
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (Kbiz) announced on the 3rd that it visited Cheongju, Chungbuk to support the 'Korea Together Sale' event hosted by the government and local governments.
On the day, Seoseungwon, the full-time vice chairman, and the Chungbuk regional small and medium business chairpersons visited Gagyeong Terminal Market and Cheongju Urban Regeneration Hub Center Plaza to purchase products from small business owners and SMEs. They also delivered 5 million won worth of Onnuri gift certificates to five welfare institutions, including the Ssalan Regional Children's Center.
The Korea Together Sale started on the 26th of last month and will run until the 12th of this month. During the sale period, Kbiz plans to carry out activities such as 'providing national tourism gift certificates to outstanding employees of Yellow Umbrella financial institutions' and 'publishing booklets recommending domestic travel destinations and restaurants.'
Seoseungwon, full-time vice chairman of Kbiz, said, "The headquarters and regional offices of the federation are leading the promotion of the Korea Together Sale across the organization," adding, "We hope that the Korea Together Sale will be an opportunity for recovery and leap forward for small business owners and SMEs who produce excellent products but are struggling to open sales channels due to COVID-19."
