Delta Cargo Appoints New Department Head for Asia-Pacific Region
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyewon] Delta Cargo announced on the 2nd that it has appointed Mr. Gonzalo Hernandez as the new head of cargo sales for the Asia-Pacific region on the 1st.
Starting this summer, Mr. Hernandez will oversee Delta Air Lines' cargo sales management for Korea, Japan, and Southeast Asia from Seoul, as well as the cargo business in partnership with Korean Air, a joint venture affiliate.
Mr. Hernandez has managed cargo operations for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India from Amsterdam for the past three years. He joined Delta Air Lines in 2009 after the merger of Delta Air Lines and Northwest Airlines, beginning his career in the Latin America cargo revenue management department focusing on pricing and load inventory management, and has held various managerial positions since.
