Gwangju Buk-gu 'Public Officials Book Donation Challenge' Campaign
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Moon In) announced on the 2nd that it will carry out a 'Book Donation Challenge' campaign targeting public officials.
This book donation challenge was prepared to provide abundant book resources to local residents by having public officials donate books they do not read and to secure the collection of books for the Yangsan Library in Buk-gu, scheduled to open in December.
Accordingly, Buk-gu will conduct the challenge with the participation of all departments until October, aiming to secure about 1,200 published books within the last three years, including general books, children's books, and educational comics.
Buk-gu plans to place the donated books as part of the collection of Yangsan Library, considering the condition of the books.
