According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 2nd, six additional cases were confirmed overnight. They were classified as Gwangju cases 72 through 78.
The infection routes are diverse, including elderly care facilities, churches, officetels, and libraries.
Case 72, a woman in her 50s, and case 77, a woman in her 60s, were confirmed to have had contact with Gwangju case 46 and the CCC Agape Silver Center.
Case 73, a woman in her 60s, was confirmed positive during a full inspection at Gwangju Sarang Church.
Cases 74 (a man in his 70s), 75 (a man in his 50s), and 78 (a man in his 60s) were investigated to be related to a door-to-door sales company.
Case 76, a man in his 70s, is known to be connected to the Buk-gu Pureun Kkum Small Library.
