Seung-Gwi Park, Muju-gun Officer, Selected as Best Work in '2020 Land Information Field'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Go Dallyoung] Muju-gun announced on the 30th that Park Seung-gwi, an administrative officer of the Civil Service Department, was selected as the top prize winner for the research project he submitted to the ‘2020 Excellent Research Project Discovery Contest in the Field of Land Information’ hosted by Jeollabuk-do.
Through the research titled ‘Data Construction and Utilization Plan for Adjustment Area Management Ledger Using QGIS,’ Officer Park received favorable reviews by proposing a method to accurately and consistently maintain cadastral survey results of lands registered in Muju-gun, including the ‘Adjustment Area Management Method.’
The ‘Adjustment Area Management Method’ involves constructing data from the adjustment area management ledger to create a continuous cadastral map and structuring it, then loading it onto QGIS (Quantum GIS_geographic information system application program) to ensure the accuracy and consistency of graphical cadastral survey result inspections.
The purpose is to systematize what was previously written and managed in paper ledgers into data to prevent damage caused by duplication errors. Officer Park attracted attention by presenting actual utilization cases and construction methods in Muju-gun.
