The newly appointed resident auditors participate in audits of education support offices and schools at various levels, providing opinions on the development of educational administration and educational policies, and performing duties to identify and recommend improvements to unreasonable systems. The term of office is two years.

Meanwhile, the resident auditor system was introduced in 2010 to strengthen the monitoring function of educational administration from the perspective of education consumers, protect their rights and interests, establish open audits, and enhance the reliability of audit administration. The 5th resident auditors participated in audits of 188 institutions last year and provided 306 opinions on matters such as school meals and student life guidance.
