LG Uplus Launches 'U+ Smart Home Google Package' Tailored for Single-Person Households
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] LG Uplus announced on the 30th that it will launch a home Internet of Things (IoT) package called 'U+ Smart Home Google Package,' designed with the convenience of single-person households in mind.
The U+ Smart Home Google Package bundles ▲ the smart display 'Google Nest Hub' equipped with Google Assistant ▲ a 'mood light' with adjustable color and brightness as well as sleep and focus modes ▲ and a 'power strip' that controls the power of home appliances and prevents fire hazards. The Google Assistant embedded in the Google Nest Hub recognizes voice commands to assist with daily tasks, setting up 'My Day,' enjoying entertainment, and more.
The U+ Smart Home Google Package is a planned product considering the recent rapid increase in demand for online video streaming services (OTT) mainly among single-person households. Through this product, customers can perform various tasks throughout the day using only their voice via their personal Google Assistant both inside and outside the home.
Customers who use U+ mobile or internet services together can use Google services and LG Uplus's smart home services for 7,700 KRW per month.
To commemorate the launch of the Google Package, LG Uplus offers all subscribing customers a 3-month free trial of YouTube Premium membership and Google One membership. Detailed information can be found on the LG Uplus website and customer center application.
