Afghan Man in Incheon Tests Positive for COVID-19 During Self-Quarantine
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] A foreign male from Afghanistan who entered Incheon has tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). A total of 341 people in Incheon have been confirmed positive for COVID-19.
Incheon City announced on the 29th that Mr. A (27), an Afghan national residing in Yeonsu-gu, tested positive for COVID-19.
Mr. A entered Incheon International Airport on the 25th of this month, traveling from Kabul, Afghanistan, via Istanbul. He received inconclusive results in the first and second specimen tests. While self-isolating, Mr. A tested positive in the third test on the same day.
