The Junghwa 2-dong Community Service Center is using the temporary office until the new building is constructed due to the housing redevelopment project in the Junghwa 1 Redevelopment Promotion Zone. The temporary office has a total floor area of 565.8㎡, with 1 basement floor and 5 to 7 floors above ground.
The new building will have a total floor area of approximately 3,282㎡, with 1 basement floor and 4 floors above ground. A design competition will be held according to the redevelopment project schedule.
In particular, resident convenience facilities such as the community hall and library will be expanded compared to the existing ones, creating a space more dedicated to residents.
The district office conducted prompt notifications ahead of the relocation to minimize administrative gaps and inconvenience to residents.
Banners were posted at six major locations, information leaflets were distributed to visitors, and promotions were carried out through SNS by community leaders and heads of functional organizations. The relocation work was swiftly completed over two weekend days with all staff mobilized.
