Cumulative COVID-19 Cases Nationwide in Japan Reach 19,118
[Asia Economy Reporter Naju-seok] In Tokyo, Japan, 57 new cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) were confirmed.
On the 27th, Japan's NHK reported that this is the highest number of new cases in Tokyo since the state of emergency was lifted on the 25th of last month. The number of new cases exceeded 50 for two consecutive days. The previous day, Tokyo also reported 54 new cases.
As a result, the cumulative number of cases in Tokyo reached 6,054.
Across Japan, a total of 89 new cases were reported. The cumulative number of cases reached 19,118.
