The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted through a heatwave advisory that the apparent temperature in eastern Gyeonggi and Yeongseo in Gangwon would rise above 33 degrees Celsius until the 23rd, making it very hot. The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted, "There may be showers in the southern Yeongseo area of Gangwon and the northern inland of Gyeongbuk in the afternoon." Expected precipitation is 5 to 30 mm.

In most inland areas, daytime temperatures will rise above 30 degrees Celsius, and due to high humidity, the perceived temperature is expected to be even higher.

The morning low temperature is forecasted to be between 18 and 22 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature between 24 and 32 degrees Celsius.

The Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "Dense fog will form over most seas, and there may be thunder and lightning over the seas near Jeju Island until the morning, so caution is needed to prevent accidents."
