The musical 'Woni Eomma' has established itself as a well-made performance famous in the region through a solid story and meticulous directing based on actual stories from the Andong area. It is a work that received high praise from audiences across various cultural and artistic sectors, having won a special award at the 10th Daegu International Musical Festival (DIMF) Awards.
This work, which is also part of Andong's real history, is described by Andong City as a love story representing the universal yet most unique history of Andong, delivering a deep resonance beyond time and space amid today's reality where the spirit of the times is disappearing and being lost.
The live broadcast performance can be viewed on mobile devices, computers, or smart TVs. Afterwards, it will be available for viewing on Andong MBC from 1:15 PM on July 5th. From July 4th, searching for 'Musical Woni Eomma' on YouTube will allow viewers to enjoy the performance.

An official from Andong City explained the planning background, saying, "Due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), local performance works are trying various efforts and methods to overcome an unprecedented crisis," and added, "We planned live broadcasts and terrestrial broadcasts that directly reach homes for citizens who cannot visit the performance venues."
