Jeonnam Central Region Child Protection Agency Holds Meeting to Identify and Protect Families at Risk of Child Abuse
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Chunsu Kim] The Jeonnam Central Region Child Protection Agency (Director Kigyong Yoo) announced on the 25th that it held a joint inspection meeting with related departments to discover and protect child abuse risk families at the Jeonnam Central Region Child Protection Agency conference room, together with Naju City Hall (Officer Kyungsook Kwon), Naju Police Station (Chief Seunggil Jeong), and Naju Office of Education (Teacher Hyangmi Yoon).
A total of six officials from the Jeonnam Central Region Child Protection Agency, Naju City Hall, Naju Police Station, and Naju Office of Education attended the meeting. At the meeting, the Jeonnam Central Region Child Protection Agency decided to form a joint inspection team with local governments and others due to the need for systematic management of 'children at risk of abuse.'
They plan to conduct a full inspection of families with children at risk of abuse by the 9th of next month and agreed to monitor the child abuse response process twice a year, in the first and second halves of the year.
Kigyong Yoo, Director of the Jeonnam Central Region Child Protection Agency, stated, "Through this meeting, we will establish a practical protection system for abused children in the region."
