On the 25th, the Hong Kong South China Morning Post (SCMP) reported that a 55-year-old man who tested positive for COVID-19 after entering Hong Kong from the Philippines died early that morning. This is the 7th death of a confirmed COVID-19 patient in Hong Kong.
The man collapsed from a stroke in the Philippines last month and was airlifted to Hong Kong by emergency helicopter. At the time of transfer, he had a high fever, and the COVID-19 test confirmed he was positive.
