Kumho Industrial, Aggressive Orders and Sales..."Full-Scale Housing Business Launch"
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Jiwon] Kumho Industrial is taking an aggressive approach to orders and sales this year.
According to Kumho Industrial on the 25th, the 'Suncheon Kumho Eoullim The Park 2nd Phase' sold in Suncheon, Jeollanam-do earlier this year ended successfully with a highest competition rate of 119 to 1 and an average of 55 to 1. Previously, the 'DMC Kumho Licensia' sold in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul last year closed its first-priority subscription with an average competition rate of 73 to 1, the highest ever in Gajaeul New Town.
A Kumho Industrial official said, "The recently sold projects in Gunsan Naun and Yeoju Gyodong were also successfully sold," and evaluated it as "a positive result despite the government's successive real estate regulation policies."
Kumho Industrial plans to continue the upward trend in its housing business through the know-how gained from constructing some of the highest-priced apartments in Korea, such as Hannam The Hill in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, 'Incheon Geomdam Kumho Eoullim Central,' and 'Yeouido Licensia.' Kumho Industrial is also gradually increasing its housing business orders. As the order backlog has continued to rise for five consecutive years, the number of units for sale is also increasing.
The sale of Kumho Industrial's stake in Asiana Airlines has been somewhat delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the company maintains that "there is absolutely no problem with Kumho Industrial's intrinsic corporate value."
Kumho Industrial plans to continuously promote redevelopment and reconstruction projects as well as small-scale maintenance projects in key areas of Seoul to expand brand awareness. It is also accelerating the discovery of future growth engines by steadily expanding regional housing association projects such as Jeju Aewol and Cheonan Cheongsu, which were ordered for the first time this year.
