Sajunmo stated, "In the current frozen job market due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), public enterprises are the most preferred by job seekers," and added, "This direct employment decision constitutes discriminatory acts infringing on the employment equality rights of existing regular employees, job seekers, and security screening staff hired after May 2017 who must undergo open competitive recruitment."
They continued, "If the Human Rights Commission recognizes the discriminatory acts after investigation, we request that it recommend remedial measures and policy corrections to the corporation," and "If regular employees of the airport corporation, non-regular employees excluded from this direct employment, and job seekers file additional complaints with the Human Rights Commission, the commission will treat this matter with greater importance."

Earlier, Incheon International Airport Corporation declared 'zero non-regular workers' and decided to directly employ about 1,900 security screening personnel as 'Cheongwon Police' status. This decision has sparked opposition among existing corporation employees and job seekers. A petition titled 'Please stop regularizing non-regular workers in public enterprises' posted on the Blue House's National Petition Board this morning received over 222,700 signatures. The petitioner stated, "What crime have the job seekers and current employees who build their qualifications and study to enter (Incheon International Airport Corporation) committed?" and protested, "Is taking away the positions of those who work hard equality?"
