Yeonggwang-gun Cancels October Scheduled 'e-Mobility Expo'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeon Seong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Jun-seong) announced on the 24th that it will cancel the 'e-Mobility Expo' scheduled for October due to concerns over the resurgence of COVID-19.
As the COVID-19 situation prolongs and health authorities have forecasted a major outbreak in October, the county decided to cancel the event to minimize local damage.
The county had selected an expo agency last month aiming to hold the expo in October and was preparing various side events such as the Jeonnam Mathematics Festival, Black Eagles Air Show, and Jeonnam Intellectual Property Festival, expecting the event to be grander than last year, so this cancellation is a significant disappointment.
