Kim Jong-in Meets Kim Tae-nyeon: "Leave Negotiations on National Assembly Organization to Joo Ho-young"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] Kim Jong-in, Emergency Committee Chairman of the United Future Party, who met with Kim Tae-nyeon, Floor Leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, avoided giving a direct answer by saying, "The negotiation for the formation of the National Assembly between the ruling and opposition parties has been entrusted to Floor Leader Joo Ho-young."
Kim Eun-hye, spokesperson for the United Future Party, stated this to reporters immediately after the meeting between Floor Leader Kim and Chairman Kim on the 24th.
On the afternoon of the same day, Floor Leader Kim met with Chairman Kim and earnestly requested the normalization of the National Assembly and the prompt passage of the supplementary budget (supplementary budget). However, Chairman Kim reportedly responded, "The negotiation for the formation of the National Assembly between the ruling and opposition parties has been entrusted to Floor Leader Joo," adding, "Once he returns, the two can discuss it."
Floor Leader Joo, who announced his intention to resign on the 15th, is expected to announce his return plan on the afternoon of the same day.
The spokesperson Kim evaluated, "There was no change compared to before for Floor Leader Kim, and there were no additional measures. It seemed to be nothing more or less than a unilateral notice."
