According to Daegu City on the 24th, two men in their 40s residing in Suseong-gu and Dalseo-gu tested positive for COVID-19 the previous day. The man living in Suseong-gu was confirmed positive after being tested at the Dongdaegu Station walk-through test site following his arrival from Iraq on the 22nd. The man residing in Dalseo-gu was confirmed infected after arriving from Kazakhstan on the same day and undergoing testing at the Dongdaegu Station walk-through site.
Accordingly, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in Daegu increased to 6,903, including these two individuals. The number of recovered patients rose to 6,771 (96.8%) with one discharge the previous day, and the death toll stands at 185. Currently, 37 patients are receiving treatment at hospitals and residential treatment centers.
Meanwhile, on the 23rd, a man in his 20s, a foreign resident living in Yeongcheon City, Gyeongbuk, was confirmed positive after undergoing diagnostic testing at the screening clinic of Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital the previous day.

The following day, their daughter, a woman in her 30s living in Suseong-gu, was confirmed positive, and on the 22nd, a woman in her 60s, a friend of hers, also tested positive.
