Seongbuk-gu Accepts Applications for Energy Saving Guide by Visiting Commercial Areas
Promotion of Energy Saving Project Using 'TimerCon Center' for Commercial Residents... Accepting Applications for 'Visiting Energy Saving Guide' Project for Commercial Areas Until July 17
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seongbuk-gu (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) announced that it is accepting applications until July 17 for the "Visiting Energy Saving Guide" project, in which the Seongbuk Energy Saving Center Guide visits local stores to provide energy-saving education and install timer outlets in response to the intensifying climate change.
The timer outlets provided by the district this time are devices that can allow or cut off electricity flow by setting the desired time, featuring various advantages such as ▲automatic power-off function ▲standby power cut-off.
Any resident who wishes to participate in store energy saving (excluding residential houses) can download the participation application form from the Seongbuk-gu Office website, fill it out, and submit it either by visiting in person (Seongbuk-gu Office Environment Division), by email (mywillis@sb.go.kr), or by fax (2241-6551).
The recruitment scale is limited to the first 300 locations, and the Seongbuk Energy Saving Center Guide will visit the applying stores directly to provide energy-saving education related to refrigerators, cooling/heating devices, water heaters, lighting, etc., and install timer outlets.
Additionally, stores participating in the "Visiting Energy Saving Guide" can join the Eco Mileage Program and receive 50,000 mileage points if they save more than 10% energy, and if selected as excellent members, they can receive incentives ranging from 500,000 to 10 million KRW.
