Kim Sun-woo, President of Bokji TV, 'Inauguration'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeon Seong] Kim Sun-woo, president of SisaWeek and native of Yeonggwang, Jeollanam-do, was inaugurated as president of Bokji TV on the 22nd.
President Kim graduated from Korea University with a degree in Journalism and Broadcasting in 1990. He has been active in political advertising, public opinion polling, cultural welfare organizations, and the entertainment sector. He ran as an independent candidate in the 21st National Assembly election for the Damyang-Hampyeong-Yeonggwang-Jangseong district.
Currently, he serves as an advisor to the Korea Public Officials Labor Union Federation, chairman of the central advisory committee of the Good Neighbor Corporation, a member of the Chungnam Film Commission, a standing advisor to the Seoul Cultural Promotion Agency, and representative of the Yeonggwang-Jangseong-Hampyeong Hope Cultural Welfare Forum.
The inauguration ceremony was quietly held at Bokji TV's Yeongdeungpo headquarters due to COVID-19, attended by Bokji TV Chairman Choi Gyu-ok, actors Park Hae-mi and Jeong Gyeong-su, and former MBC anchor.
President Kim stated, "In response to viewers' new needs, I will do my best to develop killer content to revitalize various SNS marketing and YouTube broadcasting, so that we can become a hopeful welfare broadcast that practices sharing and consideration."
