Shilla Duty Free to Start Selling 10 Billion KRW Worth of Inventory Duty-Free Goods from the 25th
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Shilla Duty Free will start selling 10 billion KRW worth of inventory duty-free products through its own travel product brokerage platform, ‘Shilla Trip,’ beginning on the 25th.
The inventory duty-free products being sold this time include fashion accessories from over 40 brands, including imported luxury brands, masstige brands, and contemporary brands.
About 20 brands, including Givenchy, Fendi, and Prada, will start the first round of sales on the 25th, while Balenciaga, Valentino, and Bally brands will be included in the second round of sales later. Due to customs clearance procedures and pricing, it will take some time, and products will be continuously updated thereafter.
Representative products include Givenchy’s ‘Cross3 Body Bag,’ Longchamp’s ‘Le Pliage Bag,’ and Tory Burch’s ‘Robinson Shoulder Bag’ and ‘Kira Shoulder Bag,’ all offered at a 30-40% discount compared to regular duty-free prices.
Shilla Duty Free issues its own warranty certificate to make after-sales service (AS), refunds, and exchanges convenient. Exchanges and returns are possible within 7 days of purchase, and AS can be done for a fee through affiliated external AS companies.
Inventory duty-free products can be purchased by signing up as a member through the ‘Shilla Trip’ menu on the Shilla Duty Free mobile app or by accessing ‘Shilla Trip’ on internet portal sites.
Meanwhile, Shilla Duty Free is running an event where all members who participated in the pre-event of ‘Shilla Trip’ will receive 2,000 Shilla Stars, which can be used like cash when purchasing duty-free products.
Also, when using ‘Shilla Pay,’ Shilla Internet Duty Free’s own simple payment system, a portion of the payment amount can be instantly discounted. Since part of the payment amount is accumulated as ‘S Rewards,’ which can be used like cash at Shilla Duty Free, it can be used for future duty-free shopping.
