Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education Conducts Regular Personnel Changes for 308 Local Government Officials

According to the Gwangju Office of Education on the 22nd, this regular personnel appointment includes 45 promotions (1 at grade 3, 4 at grade 4, 6 at grade 5, and 34 below grade 6), 183 transfers, and 58 retirements including merit retirement and retirement by age, totaling 308 personnel.
In particular, this regular personnel appointment was made up of promotions to fill vacancies in higher positions caused by merit retirement and retirement by age, transfers to secure personnel for current educational policy projects such as COVID-19 field support, and to fill vacancies in institutions.
With Yang Juseung, Director of Kumho Lifelong Education Center, entering merit retirement, Kim Seonwook, Head of the Labor Policy Division, was promoted to grade 3 and moved to the position of Director of Kumho Lifelong Education Center.
With Kwon Raeyong, Director of Gwangju Student Education and Culture Center, entering merit retirement, Jang Munsu, Public Relations Officer, was appointed as Acting Director of Gwangju Student Education and Culture Center.
The grade 4 promotions include ▲ Han Duseok (Labor Policy Division) of the Public Relations Office ▲ Yang Gwancheol (Lifelong Education Welfare Division, Eastern Education Support Office) as Head of Labor Policy Division ▲ Kim Chugeun (General Affairs Division) as General Affairs Manager of Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education Research and Information Center ▲ No Jeonghwan (Early Childhood Special Education Division) as Education Cooperation Officer of the Education Autonomy Division, Administrative Bureau, totaling 4 people. Additionally, 6 people selected through competency evaluation were promoted to grade 5 after approval by the Personnel Committee.
Among grade 4 personnel, ▲ No Jinseong, Administrative Support Director of Eastern Education Support Office ▲ Im Geuntae, General Affairs Manager of Gwangju Metropolitan Student Education Center ▲ Lee Rangsun, Director of Central Library, moved to new positions.
