View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] The National Mokpo University (President Park Min-seo) Social Customized Industry-Academia Cooperation Leading University Development Project (hereinafter LINC+ Project Group, Director Lee Sang-chan) announced on the 22nd that it held a Ceramic Industry Division seminar on the 18th at the Jeonnam Technopark Ceramic Industry Comprehensive Support Center seminar room, attended by about 50 people including Jeollanam-do, Mokpo City, and ceramic industry officials.
The seminar focused on sharing the outlook of the Gwangju-Jeonnam ceramic industry in the post-COVID-19 era, which is currently a hot issue, and ways to respond to it.
In addition, the ceramic center's corporate support programs and related projects for the development of the ceramic industry were introduced, and discussions were held on the development plans for the ceramic industry division mini-cluster.
In particular, the event was attended not only by company representatives and officials working in the ceramic industry but also by many industry-academia-research-government stakeholders from local governments and related organizations.
Lee Sang-chan, director of the LINC+ Project Group, said, "I hope this seminar will be an opportunity to share ways to overcome COVID-19 well and to strengthen the ceramic industry through cooperation among industry, academia, and research." He added, "We will continue to actively support the development of the ceramic industry in the region."
