Damyang-gun Cultural Foundation Promotes Revitalization Program for Jeongmi Dabang and Dambitgil
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Choi Hyung-sik) is promoting cultural and artistic programs centered around key spaces such as Cheonbyeon-ri Jeongmi Dabang and Guksu Street within Dambit-gil, aiming to revitalize the old downtown through culture and arts.
According to the county on the 19th, the Damyang Cultural Foundation is implementing the program "Public Stories" in front of Cafe Dalsun located on Guksu Street, Section 1 of Dambit-gil, starting at 12 PM on the last Sunday of each month. This program aims to expand the influence of culture and arts through performances and provide tourism elements through continuous monthly events.
The performance on the 28th will feature the fusion gugak group "Rootmerge," presenting a show titled "Gugak Ssoksok Concert ? Exciting My Heart," which offers a new interpretation of tradition and aims to relieve stress through the excitement of traditional music.
At Cheonbyeon-ri Jeongmi Dabang, the program "Jeongmi Salon," held every second and fourth Saturday of the month from 2 PM, is promoted to expand opportunities for local residents and visitors to enjoy culture and arts and to enhance welfare.
