Additional COVID-19 Case Confirmed in a Man in His 40s from Eungam 1-dong, Eunpyeong-gu
Eunpyeong Patient No. 48 (Resident of Eungam 1-dong, Male, 40s) Confirmed Positive During Self-Quarantine as Family Member of Patient No. 42
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced that one additional confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) occurred on the 17th.
The 48th confirmed case in Eunpyeong (Eungam 1-dong, male, in his 40s) is a family member of the 42nd confirmed case. While under self-quarantine, he visited the Eunpyeong-gu Public Health Center screening clinic on the 16th for testing and was finally confirmed positive at 6 p.m. on the 17th. He has been transferred to Seonam Hospital, a nationally designated isolation hospital.
The confirmed patient's residence has been disinfected, and detailed movement routes will be disclosed on the Eunpyeong-gu Office website once the epidemiological investigation results are available.
