Korea Maritime University Industry-Academia-Research ETRS Center Recruiting Companies for Indonesian Business Partner Discovery Program
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] The Industry-Academia-Research ETRS Center at Korea Maritime and Ocean University announced on the 16th that it will recruit companies to participate in the 'Indonesia Business Partner Discovery Support Program' from the 15th to the 26th.
The recruitment target is domestic marine plant service industry companies, with priority given to small and medium-sized enterprises lacking overseas marketing specialists.
The Industry-Academia-Research ETRS Center at Korea Maritime and Ocean University established the 'Korea-Indonesia Ocean Plant Cooperation Center (KIORCC)' and is carrying out the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries' '2020 Korea-Indonesia Marine Plant Service Industry Overseas Cooperation Project.'
Companies participating as business partners will have opportunities to be matched with local clients or partner companies and receive support for producing brochures in the Indonesian language to facilitate local marketing.
Indonesia, with about 630 marine plants, is a blue ocean for the marine plant service industry, but domestic companies face difficulties entering the market due to local regulations, lack of information, and cultural and linguistic differences.
Oh Jin-seok, director of the Industry-Academia-Research ETRS Center at Korea Maritime and Ocean University, said, "Many domestic marine plant service companies showed interest by participating in the online briefing held on YouTube last month," adding, "Starting with this program, we will conduct local base expansion programs such as business matching consultations and seminars in October to fulfill our role as a sustainable corporate support center."
