Jinan-gun Maisan Viewpoint 8-Spot Development Project Officially Launched
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Go Dallyoung] Jinangun, Jeonbuk announced on the 15th that as part of the Maisan Health Tourism Belt Development Project, it will designate 8 key points with good views of Maisan and install observation decks and photo zones.
This project, which will be carried out over three years starting this year, aims to develop new forest culture tourism content centered on Maisan, a pride of Jeollabuk-do and Jinangun. The goal is to attract tourists and revitalize Jinan's tourism industry.
To this end, Jinangun completed a feasibility study and basic plan for the Maisan Health Tourism Belt Development Project last year, and this year, starting with Unjangsan and Gubongsan, it will invest about 320 million won to install observation points.
The eight Maisan viewing points are the summits of major mountains in the area (Unjangsan, Gubongsan, Jijangsan, Buguisan, Cheonbansan, Deoktaesan, Naedongsan, Daedeoksan), and observation points will be maintained to provide tourist convenience by allowing views of Maisan from different directions.
