LF Jil Stuart Sports Collaborates with Jelly Brand Haribo
[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Lifestyle culture company LF (CEO Oh Gyusik)’s lifestyle sportswear brand JILLSTUART SPORT will release a collaborative product with the jelly brand Haribo, celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, on the 15th.
This collaboration collection features a harmonious blend of JILLSTUART SPORT’s sporty sensibility and Haribo’s cute charm under the concept of “Joyful Vacation.” JILLSTUART SPORT utilized Haribo jelly shapes, fonts, and packaging in witty logo designs and distinctive patterns and prints, while applying Haribo’s signature vibrant colors to the products to emphasize a youthful vibe.
The collaboration line consists of various items ranging from apparel to accessories, including T-shirts, hats, socks, sandals, and slippers. The T-shirts use moisture-wicking and quick-drying functional polyester material, providing a cool touch and a comfortable fit with a relaxed oversized silhouette.
Using transparent and translucent TPU, the material typically used for phone jelly cases, the texture of jelly is realistically expressed while creating a refreshing visual effect. Additionally, a lenticular special film that reveals different graphics depending on the angle is partially applied to add a three-dimensional visual effect, incorporating fun elements throughout the products.
The sandals and slippers use highly elastic EVA material and feature footbeds optimized for the curvature of the soles, offering stable wearing comfort. The EVA material, known for its excellent resilience, is lighter than rubber and easily absorbs shocks, commonly used in running shoes but applied to sandals this time.
This collaboration product will be exclusively pre-released at the online select shop 29CM. From June 29, it will be available at LF’s official online shopping mall LF Mall and at about 10 major nationwide JILLSTUART SPORT stores, including Lotte Department Store Jamsil Branch, Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam Branch, Centum City Branch, Hyundai Department Store Pangyo Branch, Galleria Timeworld Branch, and Starfield Goyang.
The marketing manager of LF JILLSTUART SPORT said, “This is an opportunity to experience the familiar Haribo jelly in a cheerful and sporty fashion sense,” adding, “Through this collaboration that highlights the charms of both brands, we aim to deliver unique joy and fun to our customers.”
