Munis Studio, a Tenant Company at Gwanak-gu Nakseong Venture Startup Center, Donates Heated Coin Patches
Delivered lunchbox delivery service through comprehensive social welfare centers to 1,131 vulnerable elderly individuals
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Junhee) received a donation of 3,000 sets of ‘Chakra Aroma Relaxing Patch (thermal coin patch)’ from Munistudio (CEO Park Jaesung).
Munistudio is a therapy solution company that heals the tired body and mind of modern people who experience pressure and stress in their busy lives.
The ‘Chakra Aroma Relaxing Patch’ donated to Gwanak-gu is a product commonly called a thermal coin patch, characterized by strong warmth and a subtle aroma scent instead of the typical patch smell, and is a proprietary product of Munistudio.
This donation is especially meaningful because it is related to the ‘Nakseong Venture Valley Development Project,’ which Gwanak-gu is focusing on.
Since 2018, Gwanak-gu has been promoting the ‘Nakseong Venture Valley Development Project’ on approximately 450,000㎡ of land (T-shaped) around the back gate of Seoul National University and Nakseongdae to create a venture startup city where talented young people can stay, work, and start businesses locally.
Along with this, the district is making multifaceted efforts to foster the growth and regional settlement of startup companies by ▲establishing startup infrastructure ▲operating various startup support programs to enhance corporate growth and capabilities.
As part of this, since April last year, the district has been operating the ‘Gwanak Startup Space,’ providing startup spaces, mentoring, consulting, and various startup capability enhancement programs to a total of 11 resident companies.
Then, in March of this year, three startup spaces serving as hubs for Nakseong Venture Valley (Nakseong Venture Startup Center, Nakseong Venture Startup Center R&D Center Branch, Seoul Startup Cafe Nakseongdae Branch) were newly opened, and a total of 15 startup companies were housed in the Nakseong Venture Startup Center and R&D Center Branch to support the growth of businesses in various fields such as eco-friendly, smart home care, and dementia prevention.
Among them, Munistudio is a promising startup in its third year, founded in 2018, which has been residing at the Nakseong Venture Startup Center R&D Center Branch after passing through the Gwanak Startup Space since the following year. Based on excellent talent, it has maintained solid management with numerous awards and rapid growth from 85 million KRW in sales in 2019 to 500 million KRW this year.
On the 12th, Gwanak-gu and Munistudio held a donation ceremony in the 5th-floor conference room of the district office. The donated thermal coin patches will be delivered to approximately 1,131 elderly people in vulnerable groups in the region through lunchbox delivery services by comprehensive social welfare centers.
