Korea Federation of SMEs Establishes Online Video Export Consultation Room... Free Operation
Providing Online-Only Spaces for One-on-One Export Consultations and B2B Collaboration with Overseas Buyers
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (Chairman Kim Ki-moon) announced that it plans to establish an 'Online Video Export Consultation Room' where small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) struggling with overseas expansion due to the COVID-19 pandemic can continuously meet overseas buyers online in a non-face-to-face manner, and will operate it free of charge starting from the 15th.
The Online Video Export Consultation Room will be operated for SMEs needing export consultations and will be installed on the 3rd floor of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business main building in Yeouido. Here, one-on-one export consultations with overseas buyers are possible through an online video consultation solution. Jeon Hye-sook, head of the Trade Promotion Department at the Federation, explained, "To support SMEs facing export difficulties due to COVID-19, we are promoting non-face-to-face online video consultation meetings in cooperation with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. Since we have established a permanent dedicated consultation room to continuously support non-face-to-face overseas marketing in the post-COVID era, we expect active utilization by SMEs."

Meanwhile, according to the demand from SMEs affected by COVID-19, the Federation plans to start an online video consultation meeting matching strong small and medium enterprises in materials, parts, and equipment with buyers from Europe's leading small and medium enterprises in these sectors from June 29 to July 10. By the end of July, it will conduct online video export consultation meetings by industry and theme, including general industrial goods, consumer goods, and food.
