This award is given to outstanding institutions based on the evaluation of 13 indicators across five areas of the Food Culture Improvement Project promoted during the first two years of the 7th local government administration: ▲promotion and expansion of the restaurant hygiene rating system ▲creation of a safe dining environment ▲open kitchen improvement project ▲simplified food culture improvement considering hygiene and nutrition ▲regional specialized projects.
In particular, the city received high praise for various efforts to create a safe and hygienic dining environment and a healthy food culture, such as promoting the designation and expansion of the restaurant hygiene rating system through collaboration with hygiene management officers at city hall, district offices, and multi-use facilities, supporting the installation of kitchen burn disclosure systems, and hosting the Changwon Food Culture Festival.
