Lee Yong-cheol, Director of Local Finance Policy at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, Appointed as Gyeonggi Province Deputy Governor for Administration II
[Asia Economy (Uijeongbu) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Lee Yong-cheol (53), Director of Local Finance Policy at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, has been appointed as the Administrative Deputy Governor 2 overseeing the Northern Office of Gyeonggi Province.
Deputy Governor Lee is from Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi Province, and graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Anthropology and a graduate degree in Policy Studies from the same university. He entered public service by passing the 37th Administrative Examination and has served as Head of Local Tax Analysis at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, Administrative Officer of the President's Secretariat for Civil Society, and Local Tax Policy Officer at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
Gyeonggi Province had the position of Administrative Deputy Governor 2 vacant for six months since the retirement of Deputy Governor Lee Hwa-soon in December last year.
