Damyang-gun Holds Youth Policy Council Meeting
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Choi Hyung-sik) announced on the 11th that it held a Youth Policy Council meeting at the county office's large conference room on the 10th to listen to the opinions of the youth and establish a system where young people can directly participate in policies.
The county has established a basic youth policy plan reflecting the opinions of various policy demanders and has organized and operated the Youth Policy Council (Chairman Park Eunseo) according to the county's basic youth ordinance.
This meeting shared the contents of this year's youth policy promotion plan, exchanged various opinions and ideas on the county's youth support policies, and discussed future directions for activities.
The council recognized that only participation at the level of all citizens can wisely solve the population outflow problem and decided that the Youth Policy Council will participate in future campaigns to retain population and encourage residents to maintain their addresses.
