Gwangju Nam-gu to Recruit 20 'Namgu Toktok' SNS Reporters by the 23rd
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Kim Byeong-nae) announced on the 11th that it is recruiting members for the Nam-gu Toktok SNS Reporters Group, targeting Gwangju citizens who have reporting capabilities while freely using various SNS media such as blogs, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.
The recruitment period is until the 23rd, and about 20 people will be selected.
Applicants must be Gwangju citizens aged 18 or older who have the ability to actively utilize reporting activities and SNS.
Preference will be given to Nam-gu residents or those interested in photography and videos who can use SNS, and both office workers and students can apply.
The selection criteria include possession of a personal SNS account and number of followers, number of posts within the last six months and activity status, content creation ability, among three categories and six evaluation indicators. Candidates will be selected in order of highest total scores.
The successful candidates will be announced on the 29th, and reporters can receive up to 50,000 KRW per month in manuscript fees depending on their personal activity level.
Applications can be submitted via email or by visiting the Planning Office on the 7th floor of Nam-gu Office.
A Nam-gu official said, “We are publicly recruiting the Nam-gu Toktok SNS Reporters Group to maximize promotional effects by delivering various information within the district, including district administration news, to residents using personal blogs and SNS, and to expand opportunities for resident participation in district administration.”
Meanwhile, ahead of the launch of the Nam-gu Toktok SNS Reporters Group, Nam-gu held a social media supporters group naming event last month and officially confirmed ‘Nam-gu Toktok’ as the name with the highest score.
