[Breaking] Another Case Emerges in Bucheon... Family Infection Suspected from Seoul Magok-dong Call Center
[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] The husband of a woman in her 60s living in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, who was diagnosed with COVID-19 after working at a call center of an investment company in Seoul, has also tested positive.
Bucheon City announced on the 10th that Mr. A (64, male), residing in Sang-dong, was confirmed to have COVID-19.
Mr. A is the husband of patient B (61, female), the 137th confirmed case in the region, who was diagnosed after working at the call center of 'SJ Investment Company' in Magok-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul. He underwent testing the previous day and was confirmed positive on the day of the announcement.
Health authorities estimate that Mr. A was infected through close contact with patient B and are conducting epidemiological investigations to trace his movements and identify contacts. The cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in Bucheon reached 141 as of 3 p.m. that day.
