Gangbuk-gu, Recruiting Youth Network Committee Members

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangbuk-gu (Mayor Park Kyum-soo) is recruiting members for the "Gangbuk Youth Network," which will discover and propose youth policies, until July 1.
Selected members will attend meetings held at least once a month to discuss various opinions reflecting the realities and needs of young people. Local youth may also engage in deliberation processes through an online community and video conferences where they can share their stories.
Youth members will participate in the policy agenda formation process and serve as a communication channel and partner connecting "Gangbuk-gu and youth." They will also join various district government events such as policy forums and activities that promote exchanges among local youth.
Any youth aged 19 to under 39 who reside or are active in Gangbuk-gu can apply. The minimum number of recruits is three, but the district plans to select as many as possible depending on the number of applicants.
Youth wishing to apply can download the application form from the Gangbuk-gu Office website (Our District Introduction → Notice Board → Official Announcements or News), fill it out, and submit it via email (yooea27@gangbuk.go.kr). Mayor Park Kyum-soo of Gangbuk-gu said, "To implement effective policies that reflect regional characteristics and youth needs, the participation and capacity building of network members are important," adding, "We will strengthen the cooperative system based on voluntary activities and actively incorporate excellent proposals into district administration to promote administration that resonates with youth."
