Suncheon-si Selected for the '2020 Regional Specialized Content Contest Project'
Multi-Media Content Production Planned to Promote Suncheonman National Garden and Suncheonman Wetland
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon City (Mayor Heo Seok) announced on May 25 that it has secured a project budget of 350 million KRW after being selected for the '2020 Regional Specialized Content Contest Project' hosted by Jeonnam Province and organized by the Jeonnam Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency.
This 'Regional Specialized Content Contest Project' is being promoted by Jeollanam-do to revitalize the cultural industry targeting 22 cities and counties in Jeonnam. Suncheon City was selected for the contest and secured 200 million KRW in provincial funds, and including 150 million KRW in city funds, plans to carry out the project until November.
Through this project, Suncheon City plans to produce promotional content to make Suncheonman National Garden and Suncheonman Wetland popular wedding photo spots, and create video content using the Suncheonman National Garden character for promotion. Additionally, it expects to develop stories utilizing cultural tourism resources and enable effective promotion based on various web platforms.

A Suncheon City official stated, "We will do our best to develop distinctive content using the natural resources of Suncheonman National Garden and Suncheonman Wetland as backgrounds and actively promote them to attract visitors."
