[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil County is promoting the 'COVID-19 Response Youth Support Project' to stabilize the lives of young people who lost their jobs due to the impact of COVID-19 and to alleviate the employment burden on youth-run businesses facing difficulties.
According to the county on the 5th, the youth support project consists of two parts: the ‘Youth Vitality Support Fund’ for unemployed youth and the ‘Youth Part-time Workforce Support’ for youth-run businesses.
First, the ‘Youth Vitality Support Fund’ targets unemployed youth aged 18 to 39 who reside in Imsil County regardless of the location of their workplace, with applications accepted until the 14th of this month.
They plan to select 20 unemployed youth who lost part-time, short-term, daily, or casual jobs, providing up to 1.5 million KRW over three months at 500,000 KRW per month for living stabilization. The support funds will be paid in Imsil Love Gift Certificates, a local gift certificate.
Additionally, the county is also providing support for youth-run businesses experiencing economic difficulties due to COVID-19.
