Ikyun: "Four Years Since Leaving Korea... No Intention to Return to Broadcasting"
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Min Jun-young] Actor Lee Kyun has stated that he has no intention of returning to the entertainment industry.
On the 5th, Lee Kyun posted on his Instagram, "Thankfully, even though I have not had an office for years, I occasionally receive casting inquiries. I am grateful. I have been living abroad, away from Korea, for about four years now."
He added, "As you can see, I have been living overseas for about four years now, spending my 30s, and looking ahead to my upcoming 40s, I have no intention whatsoever of returning to broadcasting. I dare say that when I reach my 50s, I would definitely like to challenge myself again," he said.
He continued, "I sincerely thank those who have reached out wondering about my news. My dream was to not be ordinary, but now I dare to want to become ordinary. I sincerely thank you for not forgetting me. Although it was only occasionally, I am sorry for foolishly rejecting every time," he said.
He also added, "I will live more diligently, sincerely, and rightly soon. You won’t forget me, right? I greet you with the name Lee Kyun," he concluded.
