Orange Life Surpasses 5,000 Internal Innovation Idea Proposals
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Orange Life announced on the 4th that the number of proposals submitted through its in-house innovation suggestion system, Idea Development Center, has surpassed 5,000.
Introduced in 2014, the Idea Development Center is a system where employees propose innovative ideas, which are then reviewed by relevant departments and implemented in actual work sites.
As of the end of May, 461 employees, about 60% of the workforce, have submitted a total of 5,065 ideas, with 940 selected as excellent ideas that have been applied or are being prepared for implementation in the workplace.
These include improvements to the subscription process for complete sales, automatic guidance of required documents for mobile insurance claims, simplification of required documents for name change applications to enhance customer convenience, as well as organizational culture initiatives such as the introduction of nap time to improve work efficiency.
Internal proposals have become more active with the 'Agile Transformation' introduced by Orange Life. The adoption rate of excellent ideas, which had been maintained in the 10% range, has improved since the second half of 2018 when agile organizations were activated, reaching 25.2% in the first quarter of this year.
