Nongshim Officially Launches 'Angry Neoguri' with Triple the Spiciness
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] Nongshim announced on the 25th that it will officially launch ‘Angry Neoguri,’ which was introduced as a limited product in January under the name ‘Angry RtA.’
Angry RtA gained great popularity in the market, surpassing 10 billion KRW in cumulative sales within just three months of its launch. More than 5,000 tasting reviews were posted on Instagram, with many consumers expressing their fondness for Angry RtA’s unique flavor, saying, “The fiery spiciness harmonizes perfectly with the refreshing seafood taste.”
In February, alongside the trend of Jjapaguri (Jjapaghetti + Neoguri), ‘Angry Jjapaguri’ using Angry RtA attracted attention as a unique recipe. Inspired by this, Nongshim introduced a new product, ‘Angry Jjapaguri Large Bowl,’ in April.
Encouraged by such market responses, Nongshim decided to proceed with the official launch of Angry RtA. However, considering that the brand name ‘Neoguri’ is more familiar to most consumers than ‘RtA,’ the product name was changed to ‘Angry Neoguri.’

Additionally, the amount of seafood ingredients such as mussels, squid, and seaweed was increased to enhance the distinctive seafood flavor. The weight is 121g, and the retail price is 1,000 KRW.
