Gyeonggi-do Youth Space 'Naeil Square' Opens in Yeoju
[Asia Economy (Yeoju) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The 'Youth Space Naeil Square' has opened in Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province. Naeil Square is a youth-exclusive complex facility that serves as a recharge spot in the daily lives of young people through communication, rest, and preparation for employment and entrepreneurship. This is the fourth such facility.
Naeil Square, which opened on the 22nd at Yeoju Hangeul Market, consists of a 137㎡ exclusive area with meeting spaces, study rooms, shared offices, and a shared kitchen.
It operates from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays. It is closed on Sundays and public holidays.
The province has selected a total of 12 'Youth Space Naeil Squares' so far. Up to 250 million KRW of provincial funding is provided per location.
Among these, three locations in Goyang-si, Gimpo-si, and Yangju-si opened last year. Ansan-si and Yangpyeong-gun will open in the first half of this year, and Yongin-si, Yeoncheon-gun, Hwaseong-si, and Pocheon-si will open in the second half of this year.
Uijeongbu-si and Gwangmyeong-si will open next year.
