According to BBQ on the 22nd, the 'Hot Golden Olive Chicken' series exceeded a total of 550,000 sales as of May 17, exactly one month after its release on April 17, recording an unprecedentedly high sales speed for a new product. Additionally, due to the popularity surge of the new product, franchise stores' average sales have increased by more than 40% compared to the previous year, and during the golden holiday period from late April to early May, sales rose by 60% compared to the same period last year.
The successful response to the April new product launch has already been detected on various portals. In fact, the search volume for 'BBQ' on the portal 'Naver' increased up to four times after the new product launch.
The Hot Golden Olive Chicken series consists of four types: the hot and addictive flavor 'Hotchak! Redchakchak,' the hot and spicy flavor 'Hotssa! Black Pepper,' the hot and crispy flavor 'Hotppa! Crispy,' and the hot and deeply satisfying flavor 'Hotjin! Jjin King Sauce.'
As positive reviews pour in for the new product, franchise stores' sales are also rapidly increasing. Newly opened stores are seeing an average daily order volume of 80. The favorable reception of the new product is driving sales of all BBQ products, with average store sales increasing by 40-50% compared to the previous year.
The franchise owner of the recently opened Konkuk University branch said, "Since opening, sales of Golden Olive Chicken have been dominant, but orders for Hot Golden Olive Chicken have reached similar levels since the new product launch," adding, "Despite the recent economic downturn, we are very pleased to achieve sales beyond expectations without significant impact."
